Winemaking philosophy:
Quality wines begin in the vineyard by utilizing clonal selection and meticulous viticultural practices. Take advantage of the unique climate, the cool summer fogs and ocean breezes of the Sonoma Coast appellation, and allow the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly with tremendous fruit and sugar balance. Avoid over-manipulation of the wine in the barrel so that it will be a true expression of the terroir of our vineyard, its appellation and the exceptional fruit that we have nurtured.
