Clary Ranch Wines
Winemaker Paul Clary planted the vineyard in 2000, with 10 acres of Pinot Noir and 5 acres of Syrah. The first commmercial wines were produced in the 2004 vintage. In 2007, Wine Spectator recognized the exceptional quality of the wines, naming Clary Ranch as being among the "Hot New Dozen of California Pinot Noir. The San Francisco Chronicle has consistently lauded the Syrahs produced at Clary Ranch as being the finest California examples of the Rhone varietal. In 2015, Decanter Magazine included Syrah from Clary Ranch in its "Top 10 California Syrahs".
